Overview

Department of ‘Food Bioscience and Technology’ of Korea University is proud to be acknowledged as the largest educational institution in Korea.
Through providing the personalized education and opportunities to experience both the theoretical and practical education with the eminent faculties, we teach mainly of the three academic fields: 1) Food processing, 2) Food biochemistry and safety, 3) Food biotechnology.
We’ve developed biomaterials related to the food industry, and explored the microbiological and chemical safety of the materials in addition to investigating its functionality.
We strive for the development of practical technology and most importantly, enhancement of the human health and welfare.
